Bayern Munich; Where Do They Go From Here?

So after Bayern Munich winning an impressive battle over fellow Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund to win the Champions League title for the 5th time, what’s next for the Bavarian giants?

The Champions League win was merely the final stroke in what has been a very dominating year for Bayern, they breezed through the Bundesliga with a 20 point gap between them and second place Dortmund, and completing the treble with the German cup. So with all this success what does next season have in store for the Bavarian monsters? Well with big money deals bringing Gotze and more than likely Lewandowski from Borussia, it could be more of the same, there’s no real holes in their team where any team can make an attack attempt, also with Pep Guardiola being brought in to manage there seems to be only more trophies in the future.

After recording two wins over Spanish champions Barcelona (4-0 home, 3-0 away) there doesn’t seem to be a team in the world that can stop them. This summer’s signings are going to be very important for all teams hoping for Champions League success, especially if they hope to beat Bayern, Barcelona have already confirmed a deal to bring Brazilian starlet Neymar to their club which could be the missing ingredient, but with Real Madrid losing their manager and from all the internet chatter a lot of their players could be moving on too. Meanwhile in Germany, Bayern look unbeatable, with a good mixture of German youngsters and some outside experience, it would surprise me if the Champions League trophy leaves its current home in the next couple years.
